Abstract

The rumoral images are very close to memes and selfies circulating on the internet. Those are closely related tothe phenomenon of rumor because the intentionality, velocity, content supposedly informative (often it is not), anonymous and simplify information in some simple sentences and graphics. In this paper, we work in the origins of this popular phenomenon in social networking sites.
