Dropping out of school in basic education is a problem that generates thousands of casualties each school year within the educational institutions of the country, this is due to various factors including absenteeism. To solve this problem, the secretary of public education has implemented various strategies without obtaining the expected results. Therefore, this research aims to measure the impact generated by school absenteeism and implement a mobile application, which serves as a support tool to prevent school drop-out and thus reduce the percentages nationwide, as a research methodology a meeting was held with parents where the application was installed on their mobile phones, a first semester group with a six month trial period was taken, the results obtained showed a reduction of 6% in the dropout of that group compared to the previous one.
