Abstract

LOPEZ GARCIA, Juventino. The public policies of the industrial development of Aguascalientes, Mexico (1980-2014). Rev. econ. [online]. 2017, vol.34, n.89, pp.42-77. ISSN 2395-8715.

This investigation analyzes the public policies that made possible the accelerated industrialization of Aguascalientes, in a context of economic globalization, such industrialization has resulted in a greater economic activity in the state, (production, employment, income, consumption, etc.) as a result of this, the state has had a greater economic growth in recent decades. This situation has been possible through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), in the establishment of foreign companies. The public policies that made this economic growth posible are: industrial decentralization and relocation of companies, industrial promotion, attraction of investment, workers control, infrastructure and industrial parks.
