Abstract

Objective:
To determine the impact of knowledge Management and organizational structure on the innovation capacity of software MSMEs in Sonora.
Methodology:
A questionnaire was applied to 52 companies, whose generated information was analyzed through the least squares’ method (partial least squares) using Smart PLS software.
Results:
The companies that generate knowledge and are structurally organized have an impact on their innovation capacity. Thus, the hypotheses was proved.
Limitations:
Only the MSMEs of the main municipalities of the state of Sonora were analyzed. The findings can serve as input for future research that will include the large companies in the sector, with a comparative approach at the international level and determine differences, as well as similarities that allow closing the knowledge gap.
Conclusion:
Companies need to combine the resources, knowledge, and organizational ease with which they have to achieve success in their innovation capacity.
