The intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the pancreas is a pancreatic tumor with high malignant potential. It usually presents with nonspecific symptoms, being frequently found as an incidental finding, however, in rare occasions it can present as a biliary tract obstruction. We present a case of a male patient with clinical features of cholangitis, with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasia of the pancreas as cause of the biliary obstruction.
