Abstract

PONS RABASA, Alba. Critical archives, methodological slippages and ethnographic complicities: a feminist approach to trans* masculinities. Inter disciplina [online]. 2024, vol.12, n.32, pp.131-161.  Epub Mar 15, 2024. ISSN 2448-5705.  https://doi.org/10.22201/ceiich.24485705e.2024.32.86924.

The central question of this article is to analyze the processes of materialization of the subjects and the role that the affective dimension of material life plays in it. This approach is based on the recognition that, although historically the Foucauldian device of sexuality has served us to analyze from a feminist perspective the ways in which bodies and identities are regulated, normalized and, therefore, produced in the field of the social, it would still be necessary to open a question about what obscures this conceptual tool. To this end, it is proposed: i) to consider the articulation of different and even antagonistic paradigms and concepts that allow us to analyze the normative and affective dimension of life in its articulation -critical archives-; ii) problematize classical research techniques in order to articulate other methodologies -methodological slippages-, and, iii) rethink ethnography and fieldwork in light of the destabilization of the researcher subject/researched object dichotomy -ethnographic complicities.

Keywords : corposubjetivation; dispositif of sexuality; affects; embodiment.
