ROSA LEAL, María Eugenia De la. The sustainability approach to organizational theories. Trascender contab. gest. [online]. 2021, vol.6, n.17, pp.87-102.  Epub Nov 22, 2021. ISSN 2448-6388.  https://doi.org/10.36791/tcg.v0i17.102.

Organizational theories support the study of the behavior, structure and evolution of entities, allowing to gather the evidence and elements necessary to understand the object of study of interest of research.

It is relevant and necessary to identify theories, in order to understand practice as a framework of reference, I have included in it the care of natural resources as a key element in business health and social commitment parallel to the productive function. In this sense this work reviews a group of organizational theories, their position and theoretical scope to detect theoretical conceptualization that allows an approach to the introduction and interpretation of the socio-environmental variable in the business plan.

The work describes the organizational theories that allow the attention of natural resources, applying a semantic methodology, ordering and correlating theories, their elements and approaches, as a proposal of theoretical choice to address environmental studies, concluding in the hybrid use of theories.

Keywords : theories; organizational; environment; ecology.
