Literary critics have classified the work of the Indian writer Naiyer Masud within the genre of the fantastic. The writer creates a puzzling but intriguing literary universe reminiscent of Jorge Luis Borges’ narrative techniques. This article presents the first translation into Spanish of Masud’s short story “Kitābdār”.
