Abstract
AVILA, Raúl. La pronunciación del español en la radio de veinte países hispánicos: comentarios deportivos espontáneos. Nueva rev. filol. hisp. [online]. 2016, vol.64, n.2, pp.495-509. ISSN 2448-6558.
The investigation is about the spontaneous pronunciation of sports commentators from 20 radio stations -one for every capital of Spanish-speaking countries- as heard on the internet. The pronunciation of the commentators is differentiated according to a taxonomy based on qualitative and quantitative data related to the phonemes and their phonetic variations. The classification starts with three principal variants of pronunciation: alpha (no differentiation of θ /s, no aspiration of implosive s); beta (no differentiation of θ /s, aspiration of implosive s); and gamma (differentiation of θ /s, no aspiration of implosive s).
Keywords : pronunciation; radio; Hispanic countries; taxonomy; linguistic variation.
