This study analyzes the effects of the inflation rate on food, the informal employment and economic growth on the raise of the labor poverty rate in Mexico over the period 2006-2022. It was used approach of capabilities and quantile regression models. The estimates suggest that the variable of inflation on food and the informal employment boost higher laboral poverty rates in Mexico, whilst the economic growth rate reduces it.
