Abstract

The research purpose is to determine the level of influence the Kouzes and Posner Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) in the financial environment and making decisions by the SME owners in Tamaulipas, Mexico. To accomplish with this purpose, a research model is tested and checked with a correlation analysis and the 98 questionnaires to be done; in which, the Cronbach alpha reaches a value of 0.865. Into the most important results standed out in the Finances are those with the most influence, especially with to Inspire a Shared Vision (planning the employees and institution vision) and Modeling the Way (feedback and according about what the leader is saying and doing).
