Abstract

This research was developed using the case study method, being the subject of study, a family business. The aim of the study is an exploratory investigation to identify the dimensions of the family variable that can have an influence in development of family MSME study. For this guide semistructured interviews, continuing using data, grouped by the four dimensions of the family variable were developed. The development of the research is to help future research deeper into the subject and have greater knowledge about family MSMEs to generate new theories to the permanence and sustainability of the same.
