Abstract

Objetive: To analyze the influence of the AO on two results variables: competitiveness and organizational performance in the SMEs of Aguascalientes city. Method: A quantitative cross-sectional study was developed for 250 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using the structural equation method, a structured instrument was applied to managers or owners. Results: They indicate that organizational learning has a positive and significant influence on organizational performance and on the level of competitiveness. Limitations: This study presents the results limited to SMEs, for future research it would be convenient to contrast the results in bigger companies and in stable economies. Originality: This study provides empirical evidence of the relationship AO two variables of results in relation to the objectives of the company and in relation to the competence. Findings: It was found that the strength of the AO relationship is appreciated with greater impact on the competitiveness variable.
