Abstract
GALICIA-HARO, Emma Frida; CORIA-PAEZ, Ana Lilia and GUTIERREZ-GALICIA, Francisco. Innovation Inequality in Mexico. Investig. adm. [online]. 2022, vol.51, n.129, 00007. Epub Feb 21, 2022. ISSN 2448-7678. https://doi.org/10.35426/iav51n129.07.
This work aims to analyze the innovation inequality in Mexico, through the knowledge production function using the panel data econometric method in two blocks of states of the republic, one with the best and the other with the lowest economic dynamics. This application is original compared to studies based on factor analysis. The dependent variable was taken from the data of patent applications made by residents of the state and as independent variables five representative of the components of technological advancement, learning and knowledge and the environment. Research findings show different impacts and importance for each block, coinciding only that researchers from the National System of Researchers have the highest statistical significance. The lack of annual information systematized at the state level limits the carrying out of more far-reaching studies.
