Abstract

MAYNEZ-GUADERRAMA, Aurora Irma; CAVAZOS-ARROYO, Judith  and  URRUTIA-NAVA, Gabriela Julieta. Responsiveness Capability of Export Manufacturing Firms. Investig. adm. [online]. 2024, vol.53, n.133, 00004.  Epub May 20, 2024. ISSN 2448-7678.  https://doi.org/10.35426/iav53n133.04.

The aims of this study include analyzing the effect of intra-organizational cooperation capability, reconfiguration capability and supply chain agility on responsiveness capability, and assessing their relative importance and performance. A quantitative, explanatory, and cross-sectional method is used. The study subjects are employees of the maquiladora export industry in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. The results reveal that the cooperative capability has an influence on reconfiguration capability, agility in the supply chain, and responsiveness capability. Moreover, reconfiguration capability affects responsiveness capability and agility in the supply chain, and the latter affects responsiveness capability. The originality resides in the identification of areas of improvement for responsiveness capability. The findings reveal the relevance of intra-organizational cooperation capability. The limitations are related with the non-probabilistic and cross-sectional design.

Keywords : Reconfiguration Capability; Supply Chain Agility; Intra-Organizational Cooperation Capability; Responsiveness Capability.
