The objective of this research is to contrast the priorities of the characteristics of the transporter's work profile between drivers (men and women) and company representatives in Mexico through a method that raises two aspects that consist of a bibliometric study and a statistical analysis in order to have compatibility of interests. A survey was conducted of freight transport drivers and company representatives in Mexico dedicated to this line of business. A one-way ANOVA was performed and validated statistically with the Kruskal-Wallis test; and the characteristics considered in the profile were arranged in descending order according to statistics. The results are that the characteristics of emotional stability, family permanence, previous driving experience and educational level between drivers and company representatives are statistically different in their priorities. The originality of the findings allows the implementation of management mechanisms to understand and cover the demand for drivers in Mexico, while the limitation was the sample taken due to the availability of drivers and company representatives.
