Abstract

Anafilaxia was presented on a 51 year old female with a diagnosis of abdominal deformity scheduled for abdominoplasty. Inmediately after the administration of intravenous midazolam a rash was presented widespread, accompanied by dyspnea, a loss of the state of alertness, an arrhythmic electrocardiogram. Heart of 70 a 110 beats per minute. Blood pressure quickly droped from 90/60 a to 80/40 mm Hg SaO2 86%. She didnot present bronchospasm. The face masak ventilatory support was stared administered intravenously: hidrocortisone 200 mg, diphenhydramine 10 mg, ranitidina 50 mg, dexamethasone 8 mg, as well as abundant liquids and finally intravenous of epinephrine 0.5 mg was administered. The response was favorable.
