Abstract

It is a 37 years old adult, with diagnosis of a late complication of a burn by direct fire in face, five months prior. With the passage of time the patient was presenting a gradual limitation for the oral opening, Cicatricial Contracture, limiting speech, as well as problems for the intake of food. The diagnosis was microstomia and was scheduled for comisuroplastia. For which it was decided to administer general anesthesia, potentially difficult airway. It is Decided to apply intubation, with fibroscopy flexible aScope in order to ensure the airway, maintaining spontaneous ventilation during the procedure and preserving the airway.
