Abstract

SANDOVAL OROZCO, Aída Georgina. Youth and Care of Life: Epistemic Axes for a Situated Pedagogical Proposal. Rev. latinoam. estud. educ. [online]. 2021, vol.51, n.1, pp.119-141.  Epub Oct 20, 2023. ISSN 2448-878X.  https://doi.org/10.48102/rlee.2021.51.1.91.

This paper sets forth some tips of pedagogical work in the theoretical-methodological realm about the care of life directed to young people in upper high school. Restitution of historicity as a tool for intervention and biographical action may contribute to re-establish the guidelines of mutual recognition and to the emergence of symbolizations that transit everyday conflicts. Through clinic sociology as a comprehensive strategy and the premises of the South epistemology, it concludes that the understanding of self-history is fundamental to promote the students’ ability of action on reality.

Keywords : youth; care of life; South epistemology; clinic sociology; historicity; pedagogy.
