Abstract

COSSIO MORENO, John Alexander. Educational Practices of Teachers of Primary School: Social Cartography in Differentiated Contexts. Rev. latinoam. estud. educ. [online]. 2023, vol.53, n.3, pp.215-252.  Epub Oct 06, 2023. ISSN 2448-878X.  https://doi.org/10.48102/rlee.2023.53.3.569.

The article analyzes how basic education teachers position in their educational practices, the territorial and cultural knowledge that circulates between communities and educational institutions. It aims to contribute to the reflection on the training of teachers in differentiated contexts from an intercultural perspective, in search of the understanding of their senses and meanings about the territories, from their educational and cultural practices, to elucidate their own ontologies and the relationships they weave there. The methodological proposal assumes a collaborative action thought from the pedagogical social cartography to stage educational knowledge and senses of the territory of the teachers of two Rural Educational Institutions located in the Urabá region of Antioquia in Colombia. It is recognized, then, that the meanings that teachers construct from their educational practices are constituted through their own discourses captured and analyzed in the maps; likewise, it argues the articulations or tensions that can occur between educational practices with cultural practices and educational knowledge that are manifested in the territories.

Keywords : educational practices; teacher training; social pedagogy cartography; intercultural dialogue; territory.
