Abstract
PAREDES FLORES, María de Lourdes and VEGA GONZALES, Emilio Oswaldo. Development and Validation of an Instrument that Measures School Coexistence in Virtual Environments. Rev. latinoam. estud. educ. [online]. 2023, vol.53, n.3, pp.715-737. Epub Oct 06, 2023. ISSN 2448-878X. https://doi.org/10.48102/rlee.2023.53.3.573.
The objective of this research is to develop and validate an instrument capable of measuring school coexistence under the virtual modality in secondary education students of an educational institution in Lima-Peru. This instrument is an adaptation of the School Coexistence Questionnaire for Non-Violence (CENVI) by Muñoz et al. (2017). The results indicate that the instrument presents construct validity through factor analysis that evidenced the existence of four dimensions: social violence of exclusion (VSE), violence by technological means (VPT), training for non-violence (FPNV), and management for non-violence (GPNV); as well as good reliability (α= 0.924). It is concluded that the School Coexistence Questionnaire in Virtual Environments (CEEV) applied is valid and reliable in secondary education students.
