Apresentamos o caso de uma paciente com síndrome de Waterhouse-Friderichsen que apresentou falência múltipla de órgãos e dados em relação à insuficiência supra-renal aguda, que foi fulminante e concluiu-se que foi secundária ao Staphylococcus haemolyticus.
