Abstract

Pneumothorax and the presence of bullae have been reported as late complications associated with COVID-19 pneumonia in patients with poor evolution. The exact mechanism that causes these complications and their role in the clinical course of the disease are unknown. The following is the case of a 56-year-old male patient with pneumothorax and bulla as a late complication of COVID-19 pneumonia.
