CALA-AYALA, Ángela et al. Clinical and imaging procedures correlation in differential diagnosis between fatty necrosis and inflammatory cancer of the breast. About a case. Gac. mex. oncol. Fat necrosis is an inflammatory process of adipose tissue, which occurs secondary to some type of trauma. The pathophysiology is well established and if it occurs in the breast, the clinical findings such as the presence of masses or even skin involvement could simulate breast cancer. This was the case of the patient that we will present below.

Keywords : Fat necrosis; Inflammatory breast cancer; Fat injection.
