MORRUGARES-IXTEPAN, Martín O. et al. Clear-cells adenocarcinoma of the cervix in a 12-year-old girl non exposed to diethylstilbestrol: A case report. Gac. mex. oncol. [online]. 2022, vol.21, suppl.1, pp.38-41. Epub Sep 11, 2023. ISSN 2565-005X. https://doi.org/10.24875/j.gamo.22000095.
Cervical cancer is the most common form of gynecological cancer. Cervical clear-cell adenocarcinoma is a histological variant rarely seen in pediatric and adolescent patients; a risk factor for this pathology is the gestational exposure to diethylstilbestrol. We report the diagnosis of cervical clear-cell adenocarcinoma in a 12-year-old patient without any previous exposition to diethylstilbestrol.
