Abstract
ROBLES-DIAZ, José F.. Acrometastasis of the hand as a relapse of adenocarcinoma of the cervix: A rare entity. Literature review. Gac. mex. oncol. [online]. 2022, vol.21, suppl.1, pp.79-83. Epub Sep 11, 2023. ISSN 2565-005X. https://doi.org/10.24875/j.gamo.22000001.
Acrometastasis of the hand has a low incidence, but if the origin is cervical cancer, it is extremely rare. Its presentation marks an unfavorable prognosis for the patient. Treatment will depend on whether you are in the stage of oligometastasis or not. And yes, its presentation is de novo or as a relapse of the disease. The subject is reviewed on the case of a 51-year-old woman with surgically treated cervical cancer, who develops acrometastases of the hand and recurrence in the vaginal vault. She being proposed to undergo distal phalanx amputation and systemic therapy.
