Predation of Petatillos Corridor Snake (Drymobius margaritiferus) by a Great Kiskadee (Pitangus sulphuratus) in Campeche, Mexico. Rev. latinoam. herpetol. The Speckled racer (Drymobius margaritiferus) is a medium-sized member of Colubridae family that inhabits from the southern United States to Colombia. It feeds mainly on amphibians and has been recorded as prey for diurnal birds of prey. The Great kiskadee (Pitangus sulphuratus) is a member to the Tyrannidae family that occurs from the southern United States to central Argentina and has been recorded as a predator of amphibians and small reptiles. In this paper we report the first record of predation of D. margaritiferus by P. sulphuratus, adding the bird as a predator of this species of snake.
