The journal Investigación Económica is edited quarterly by the Department of Economics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The journal addresses a variety of topics on Economics that promote reflection on economic theories and problems by means of the analysis and research performed by recognized authors. Articles are rigorously evaluated by the Editorial Committee formed by renowned scholars. Investigación Económica is indexed or abstracted by information services such as Journal of Economic Literature (Econ. Lit.), Public Affairs Information Service (PAIS), CLASE (Latin-American Citations in Social Sciences and Humanities), Latindex, and in the Index of Mexican Science and Technology Research Journals of the CONACYT.
