Madera y Bosques is a journal that aims to serve as a means of disseminating scientific and technological research related to forest products, management and conservation, forest ecology and related issues. The journal publishes current original works of scientific nature, book reviews and scientific notes. It is a quarterly publication appearing in Spring, Summer and Autumn. Spanish and English works are accepted and occasionally in other languages. Madera y Bosques does not charge publication fees. The journal is edited by the Environment and Sustainability Network of the Institute of Ecology (Red Ambiente y Sustentabilidad del Instituto de Ecología, A.C.)
