Botanical Sciences is the scientific journal of the Botanical Society of Mexico (Sociedad Botánica de México). The journal published original contributions in all fields of Botany, including biogeography, biotic interactions, conservation, economic botany, ecophysiology, ecology, ecological restoration, ecosystem management, embryology, ethnobotany, floristics, molecular systematics, physiology, phytochemistry, phytopathology, paleobotany, palynology, structural botany, taxonomy (including description of new species and monographs), among others. Botanical Sciences publishes contributions in Spanish and English. Quarterly publication.
