The overall aim of the journal Investigación en Educación Médica is the dissemination of studies, research, theoretical and empirical works as well as controversies and discussions in the field of medical education in particular, and generally in the field of health sciences, that are being carried out in our academic and professional area. All this to raise the academic, scientific and technical level of teachers and researchers of medical education and health sciences in the different institutions of our country. Published articles will address practical aspects of everyday teaching as well as challenges and theoretical issues of education and human resources formation in health sciences. Additionally, the journal will include analysis and opinions of experts of recognized national and international prestige on medical education. The journal will cover all levels of medical education and professionals of the health sciences, from undergraduate, graduate and continuing training, in order to analyze experiences and stimulate new currents of thought in the field of medical education.
