The journal is the official dissemination channel of the Medical Society of the General Hospital of Mexico (Sociedad Médica del Hospital General de México, A.C.). The journal publishes original articles, clinical cases, review and update topics, medical arbitration cases, history notes, medical education topics, brief communications, editorials by invitation and various news of the Society. To be accepted for publication, at least two reviewers analyze all articles. Finally, documents are assessed as accepted or rejected by the Editorial Committee. The journal is published quarterly
