Resumen
OLIVARES ZORRILLA, Rocío. The true author of "Los Diez Grados del Amor Divino" attributed to Palafox. Lit. mex [online]. 2011, vol.22, n.1, pp.57-74. ISSN 2448-8216.
The present essay provides ample notice of the true author of the poetic work 'Los Diez Grados del Amor Divino' attributed to Juan de Palafox y Mendoza since the 17th century, when his complete works were edited. The author is Diego de Funes, a Carthusian monk from Zaragoza, who in the 16th century composed these poems in different meters, and later the Augustinian monk Juan Bautista Lisaca de Maza brought them to light in the year 1635 with the following title: De los Grados del Amor de Dios en Theoria y en Practica. The essay also compares the version published by Lisaca, the version of Palafox, and the addition of the "Practica"composed by the same Lisaca de Maza.
