There are different approaches on conceptualization and definition of violence against women, hence resulting in different methods of intervention in assistance. This work aims to analyze two of those different dynamics and the reception by women that come to the assistance centers, in which ways the theories that guide the intervention contribute or not to a change in the interpretative frame for women in a situation of violence. In which ways it influences in the actions of those women to reverse their situation.
