ESCARZAGA, Fabiola. Comunidad indígena y revolución en Bolivia: el pensamiento indianista-katarista de Fausto Reinaga y Felipe Quispe. Polít. cult. [online]. 2012, n.37, pp.185-210. ISSN 0188-7742.
We will analize the programmatic formulations made in successive moments by Fausto Reinaga and Felipe Quispe, the most important ideologues of the bolivian indianismo-katarismo, which proposed the Indians as being the central political subject of the Revolution in their country. We will identify the common elements and the differences between both of them. Their approaches are the ideological and organizational underpinnings of the uprising of indian movements developed since the 1970's and that have a peak in the mobilizations against the neoliberal policies of the years 2000 to 2005, which led the the leader of the coca growers, Evo Morales to the presidency of Bolivia.
