Although the intestinal diverticulum are rare, its perforation conditions a high mortality associated with delay in diagnosis, its most common localization is jejunum. Treatment consists of fluid and electrolyte replacement, broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy and surgical management that includes resection of the intestinal segment where the diverticulum is located and anastomosis. Because of it is a rare pathology, it is important to keep it in mind, in order to suspect the disease and establish treatment immediately. Following, there is a case of a patient with a diagnosis of perforated jejunal diverticulum.
