CORDERO-CORTES, Patricia; NUNEZ-ESPINOZA, J. Felipe; HERNANDEZ-ROMERO, Oliverio  y  ARANA-CORONADO, Oscar A.. Resilient factors in micro and small rural enterprises. agric. soc. desarro [online]. 2014, vol.11, n.4, pp.481-498. ISSN 1870-5472.

In present study the resilient factors identified in micro and small rural enterprises (micro y pequeñas empresas ruralesk, MIPyMES) are explained, from the construction of a list of factors obtained from projects in the National Sustainable Development Network (Red Nacional Desarrollo Rural Sustentable, RENDRUS) and confirmed through study cases of economic units located in the municipality of Ziracuaretiro, in the state of Michoacán, México. The MIPyMES are means of rural development for México and study objects because of their ability to survive. The principal contributions of this study are: helping establish a definition for entrepreneurial resilience, identifying the resilient factors from the risk and protecting factors, and contributing with an idea of the type of critical situations that rural enterprises undergo in México. The study method is composed of two parts. The first consisted in the literature revision and the second in the elaboration of study cases, with a greater analysis of the sociocultural part and the organizational structure of the rural enterprise. The main resilient factors identified were: achieving better group coordination, greater group commitment, honesty, acquiring more group and productive discipline, as well as establishing strategic alliances, among others.

Palabras llave : organizational structure; MIPyMES; RENDRUS; resilience.
