The study of popular solidarity, the social economy and the social sector of the economy in Mexico must be understood as a framework historically located within a territory, therefore they have differentiated expressions-so that the expressions in the southeast differ from those in the west and those in the center from those in the north. In this sense, the present work is descriptive and with qualitative methodology, using techniques of evidence such as participant observation and interviews, it shows the result of visiting 34 initiatives in different regions of Jalisco and as a consequence it has been proposed to catalog the experiences found in eight trends to offer more clarity on the complexity of articulations that form these organizations.
