This paper, presented as a lecture during the IV Permanent Seminar of the Mexican Yearbook of International Law, seeks to analyse the impact and implementation in Colombia of the decision on the merits of the International Court of Justice in the Territorial and Maritime Dispute (Nicaragua v. Colombia). It presents the most relevant actions taken by Colombia after the reading of the judgment of International Court of Justice, from which it seeks to answer the question whether Colombia has complied with the said judgment.
