Resumen
BACALLAO PINO, Lázaro Magdiel. Social instituting and institutional politics in Latin America. Latinoamérica [online]. 2015, n.60, pp.125-157. ISSN 2448-6914.
The article aims to analyze the interrelationships between instituted politics (governments) and instituting sociability (social movements) in the Latin American context. The analysis includes two levels -the national and the regional ones-, and is based, on the one hand, on social movements from two countries (Brazil and Argentina) and, on the other hand, on some regional spaces linked to both social movements and governments. The complex interrelationships among these two actors take into account two dimensions: how each of them understands social change, and the autonomy as a main characteristic of social movements.
