The social process derived from the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959 started a deep transformation of the social projection of museology and triggered the recovery and conservation of historical, artistic, documentary and architectural values, leading to the creation of new museums. These institutions with a fresh technical an ideological presentation and its corresponding legal support, turned out to be, in this way, permanent centers for education, helping to solve the social and cultural problems inherited form the past, as well as instructors of the new generations of Cuban citizens.
