The aim of the paper is to explore the unclassification strategies related to the production and consumption of Pentecostal material culture in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Unclassification involves the practice of reviewing the taxonomies of a group to establish distances and approximations with their worldview, avoiding full identification with religious labels. After an epistemological characterization of material culture´s concept, the article is divided into three parts: (a) In the first, a film with evangelistic purposes is analyzed; (b) The second explores the production of humorous content by a Christian influencer. (c) And the third tackle a religious consumption itinerary that affirm a permanent state of liminality. Unclassifications of different order arise. Each of them recreate the border areas of Pentecostalism. The research is based on the qualitative and quantitative study of the supply and consumption of religious cultural goods in Argentina, including the systematization of a corpus of written and audio-visual documents.
