Resumen
IBARRA CISNEROS, Manuel Alejandro; VELA REYNA, Juan Benito y RIOS NEQUIS, Eric Israel. Intellectual capital, knowledge management and performance in universities. Investig. adm. [online]. 2020, vol.49, n.126, 12606. Epub 11-Sep-2020. ISSN 2448-7678. https://doi.org/10.35426/iav49n126.06.
The objective is to determine the intellectual capital through its dimensions and knowledge management that influence the performance of Mexican universities. In addition, it corroborates the positive relationship between knowledge management and intellectual capital. The research method makes use of partial least squares structural equations derived from a survey applied to university academics. The results indicate the importance of knowledge management on intellectual capital and these with respect to institutional performance. The main finding mentions the importance of knowledge management on the generation of intangible assets and how these two variables affect the performance of universities. The value of this research is that it integrally studies variables analyzed separately in previous investigations, consequently it is considered unpublished in the country. The main limitation found is that it does not cover all the country’s universities.
