SABUGAL VILLAMAR, Anaid. Walter Benjamin And the Experience of The City: Proposals of Actualization his Physiognomies. Rev. filos. Univ. Iberoam. [online]. 2023, vol.55, n.154, pp.12-67. Epub 17-Mayo-2024. ISSN 2954-4602. https://doi.org/10.48102/rdf.v55i154.162.
Walter Benjamin was perhaps the first thinker to propose an analysis of the city from a labyrinthine and unique philosophical approach, he sought to extend his criticism towards the impoverishment of human experience, which in his city side accelerated, in his opinion, this impoverishment. Of all the access routes we have to understand how Benjamin thought about the experience of the capitalist industrial city, we believe that his examination of figures such as the bohemian and the flâneur provide us with enough tools to think about said experience and signify it. However, we consider it relevant not only to recover this reflection, but also to add two more proposals to his physiognomies that we consider fundamental to situate ourselves in the study of the experience of the contemporary city.
