MELENDEZ ZERMENO, Flavio. La diversidad de los cuerpos y las familias. La ventana [online]. 2011, vol.4, n.33, pp.197-209. ISSN 1405-9436.
The statement of law instituting equal rights to marriage in Mexico City and the right to adopt children questions approaches that ascribe human sexuality to a natural law which founded family on heterosexual relationships aimed at reproduction, and holds that human sexuality has been taken over by language, deriving in the existence of an unnatural body, in the plurality of human eroticism, and the multiplicity of forms of family, showing that the nuclear family is a recent historical development. It proposes that the proliferation of laws establishing in different countries egalitarian marriage are part of a cultural mutation in which three elements can be identified: the mutation of the symbolic order linked to the Oedipus complex, the death of the patriarchal family, and the decline of marriage as virtually the single social approval of erotic and loving relationships.
