MONTESINOS-RAMIREZ, Claudia et al. Neonatal resuscitation program: current recommendations. Rev. mex. pediatr. [online]. 2021, vol.88, n.5, pp.209-213.  Epub 08-Ago-2022. ISSN 0035-0052.  https://doi.org/10.35366/103903.

Neonatal asphyxia and its complications remain a serious problem at birth; the knowledge and skills of those who apply the Neonatal Resuscitation Program have an impact on the morbidity and mortality of the newborn. Recently, the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) has published new recommendations on neonatal resuscitation to improve outcomes in newborns, as well as methodology for provider education. It also contains a section on care during the COVID-19 pandemic. This article presents a summary of the most important changes in the book Neonatal Resuscitation, eighth edition, published in 2021 by the American Heart Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
