TEDESCHI, Losandro Antonio y BALLER, Leandro. Fragmented borders and multiple identities: an investigation of transnational borders between Brazil and Paraguay. Estud. polít. (Méx.) [online]. 2018, n.44, pp.129-149. ISSN 0185-1616. https://doi.org/10.22201/fcpys.24484903e.2018.44.64755.
The article seek to discuss the issue of identities in regions bordering Brazil-Paraguay. It is through them that pass the senses of nationalities, confluences of knowledge, cultures, economic relations, among other aspects. In this way, borders are spaces of recognition, estrangement and definition of identities. These are understood as a process in which meanings are constructed through the action of hybridization, the association of elements from one culture to another, providing the emergence of new cultural elements. The boundaries do not disappear, they change, interpenetrate and re-elaborate on their past / present senses.
