Individual and collective memory is a crucial point of reference for interpreting the present in the formation of political and cultural identities. We will focus on the violation of human rights in Mexico and Latin America, which will allow us to determine the role of memory in the construction of a committed citizenship, specifically, regarding the change of administration in the United States.
