For that purpose, the Crown began a process of imposing forms of resolving disputes between parties, which meant the alteration of one of the cultural categories of the indigenous. However, once indigenous acculturated Hispanic justice system, they were able to integrate it into their mental categories, re-create it and manipulate it to their own interests.
