Resumen

MICHELI THIRION, Jordy  y  ARMENDARIZ TORRES, Sara. Una tipología de la innovación organizacional para la educación virtual en universidades mexicanas. Rev. educ. sup [online]. 2005, vol.34, n.136, pp.95-105. ISSN 0185-2760.

As opposed to traditional points of view regarding virtual education, this paper focuses on “organizational technology” in order to analyze the organizational transformation undergone by the university so as to adopt and adapt technology aimed towards the key objective of the organization: education. The purpose is to reflect upon assimilation and learning of technologies by organizations in order to incorporate them into their production process. Conclusions show that the different ways to adopt and learn technology have a close relationship with the strategy of the organization, and that the role of two variables in the organization are relevant: computer science and distance education.

Palabras llave : virtual education; CIT; education.
